Vet Run
The West Valley’s 11th Annual Veterans Day 5k Fun Run/Walk and Ceremony on November 11, 2024, will be held at ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú in partnership with the City of Avondale, and benefits veterans who face financial barriers to education. The City of Avondale Police and Fire Departments will also be onsite, providing interactive activities for all attendees. Local gyms will be hosting four exercise stations during the 5K run.
All tickets purchased before 10/27/24 will include the 5k Run/Walk, Ceremony, and a commemorative t-shirt.
Tickets will also be available for purchase for a VIP Warrior Brunch after the 5k Fun Run/Walk and Ceremony. The VIP Experience will include a special catered brunch with beverage tastings, sponsored by 8-Bit Aleworks and ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Culinary.
Proceeds of the Vet Fun Run will go to the Dr. Ernest Lara – ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Veterans Scholarship Fund. This scholarship fund is designed to assist veterans at ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú who may face financial barriers in pursuing or completing their education.

- 0900 - Registration Starts at the southwest corner of Estrella North Plaza.
- 0945 - Warm Up
- 1000 - Run!
- 1100 - Ceremony
- 1200 - VIP Warrior Brunch

$15 Civilian Admission after 10/27/24 | Includes Entry fee only; T-shirt not included
$75 for VIP Admission | Includes the same as above + beverage glass + Warrior Brunch and brews sponsored by ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Culinary and 8 Bit Aleworks
$50 Veteran and Military VIP Admission
